Like a lowly vine I cling to you
You nurture my being and I am secure
I know not why or how this came to be
Yet like a dream you appear and like a daydream you linger
My heart, my heart
I liken you to the stars that shine in the heavens
Brilliant to the glance, yet greater than they appear---
You---are---beautiful!
Oh my heart, my heart
I grab my chest and feel it’s beat
So fast, so intense, so alive---you do this to me
My body quivers at your touch
My lips moisten at the anticipation of your kiss
My mind is stimulated by your words
I am lost—what do I do?
Oh my heart. My heart
